Objective: It was to analyze main metabolic pathways modulated nutrients, and muscle regeneration sports performance. Methods: The present study followed a systematic review model (PRISMA). literary search process carried out from July September 2022 developed based Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct, Scielo, Google Scholar, scientific articles 2004 2022. low quality evidence attributed case reports, editorials, brief communications, according GRADE instrument. risk bias analyzed Cochrane Results Conclusion: We found 132 studies that underwent eligibility analysis, then 31 52 total were selected this review. According instrument, most showed homogeneity their results, I2 =98.9% >50%. Funnel Plot symmetrical behavior, not suggesting significant smaller sample size. A healthy microbiota interaction immune system, promoted diligent nutrological care, can be crucial muscle-gut axis influence maintenance mass its functionality athletes. However, dysbiosis resulting negative system wasting disorders. These changes promote systemic inflammation, overproduction pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6. Future should clarify whether nutrient depletion are pathophysiologically disorders supposed gut-muscle axis.
